A massive congratulations to Emma who has recently passed the CII AF4 Investment Planning Exam and is one step closer to achieve her dream of becoming a chartered financial planner.

The objective of Investment Planning (AF4) is to develop in depth financial planning skills related to investments and the management of investment portfolios. The exam was a 3 hour written paper which tested Emma’s technical knowledge and analytical skills with regards to investment planning.

The assessment comprised of three case studies which required Emma to demonstrate that she is capable of evaluating the needs of clients and is able to recommend appropriate solutions based upon detailed understanding and analysis of the economic environment and financial investments, within a tight timescale.

We are very pleased with Emma’s achievement. These exams are not easy and it has built perfectly on her Diploma in Financial Planning and Finance and Business Degrees. Like Alice, Emma will now continue her journey towards chartered status, and we wish her all the very best with her career as part of the Roberts Boyt team.
